Another Classic High-Quality Orient Water Closet from your reliable hardware store, Cedar Clink (Kimathi House, Kimathi Street). This pink toilet from Orient is one of the most reliable and aesthetically pleasing water closets in the country. Coming in the loved throne grove and tapered cistern and trap way, the model fits in any bathroom in the world. The exposed trap ways have a way of greatly enhancing the aesthetics of any toilet. Among the types of trap ways, statistics prove that the exposed trap way is the most common, and that is definitely a testament to its superiority. This design is also reminiscent of pre-modern architecture and blends very well with ancient types of architecture.

I recently purchased the Top Flush Orient Close Couple and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. This toilet is perfect for a half bath as it is nice looking and compact. The sleek design adds a modern touch to my bathroom while taking up minimal space. I agree with the other reviews that installing this toilet can be a bit tricky. Unlike some models, this one does not have an opening to access the bolts, which can make installation more difficult. However, with a few suggestions, the installation process can be made much smoother.
Firstly, forget the wax ring that comes with it and invest in the Fluidmaster better than wax seal. This inexpensive seal allows you to easily re-position the toilet during installation. Additionally, I found that using painters tape on either side of the toilet and having two 2X4 pieces of wood ready made aligning the toilet with the hole in the floor much easier.
Connecting the waterline before positioning the toilet is also important, as it will be impossible to reach once the toilet is in place against the wall. Once the waterline is connected, carefully position the toilet on top of the 2 X 4 with one flush with the wall and the other where the front of the toilet will sit. This will allow enough room to align the bolts and hole. Once aligned, carefully remove the 2 X 4 pieces of wood, making sure the bolts are through the hole. Finally, the most challenging part of the installation is reaching the bolts in the back of the toilet to put on the washer and nut and tighten them with a small torque wrench. However, with patience and some elbow bending, it is definitely doable.
Overall, I highly recommend the Top Flush Orient Close Couple. Its compact design and sleek look make it the perfect addition to any half bath. With a bit of patience and the right tools, installation can be made much smoother. Don’t hesitate to invest in the wax seal to make the process even easier.
